  • How much does it cost?
    The cost for leagues is $249 per player, plus a $6.23 service fee, for a full 8-week season. Group discounts are available.
  • What is your program schedule?
    Program schedules are posted on our website as they become available. Visit our Leagues and Camps pages for current information.
  • How do I get the group discount?
    A $40 per player discount is available when two or more players register together. Email us once your friend has registered and we'll send you both a refund to match the group rate!
  • Do players need experience to join?
    No experience is required to join. Players can improve their skills in their favorite games, or explore a new game for the first time. Players of all skill levels and abilities are welcome to participate.
  • How do I sign up for a program?
    Enrollment is done through our website. View our currently available Leagues or Camps, click on the program that interests you, and complete the enrollment process. Please note that spots are limited. Be sure to sign up by the posted enrollment deadline.
  • How do players connect and participate?
    Valhallan's virtual programs take place online only. Players join from home by joining our secure Discord server, where they will connect with their coach and teammates. Further information on how to connect will be provided to enrollees.
  • What will the players learn?
    Our programs provide a structured, coach-lead environment that teaches both gaming skills and life skills. Players gain many of the same benefits that they would in a traditional youth sports league, only through their favorite video games. Key learnings from the program include: in-game skills and strategies, teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship.
  • What games do you offer?
    We offer programs in: Fortnite, Minecraft, Valorant, and Rocket League.
  • How long is a league season?
    Fall 2023 leagues are 8 weeks long. Visit the Leagues page for further information.
  • How is this different than just playing video games with friends?
    The difference is huge. With Valhallan, kids get structure, support, coaching, skills practice, and competition among peers. It's only kids playing with other kids, supervised and instructed by our coaches. It's like the difference between playing in an organized youth sports league vs. playing pick-up ball at the park.
  • What happens if my child misses a session?
    We realize you are busy. Missing a session may happen from time-to-time and it's not an issue. Please try to make as many sessions as possible to get the most out of the program.
  • What ages are allowed?
    Our programs are for children ages 7-15. We group kids by age ranges of 7-10 and 11-15 to ensure the best experience. Players of all skills levels and abilities are welcome to participate.
  • What console or PC do I need?
    Here are the console or PC options for each game: Fortnite: PC, laptop, Playstation, Xbox, or Switch Minecraft: PC Java Edition of the game Valorant: PC only Rocket League: PC, laptop, Playstation, Xbox, or Switch
  • What is your refund / cancellation policy?

  • How frequent are your league sessions, and how long are they?
    In our leagues, players participate in two sessions per week. The sessions are 90 minutes each. Visit the Leagues page for specific information.

    Based in Houston, Texas, Valhallan is a leading youth esports organization featuring training, coaching, competition, and league play. Our programs help players learn valuable skills teamwork, communication, leadership, and determination while competing in their favorite video games.

  • How long has the program been around?
    We launched our virtual youth esports programs in 2020. Families loved what we did and the program quickly grew. In 2022, we joined Valhallan to give more youth players the opportunity to participate. Today we continue to expand and improve our virtual esports offerings to families nationwide!
